What is an Invest in Your Child Giving Campaign?
We, as members of the Bain Elementary School Family, can make a difference in the lives of our children by working together. How? By making a donation to the Investing in Your Child Campaign. This campaign is a two-week (Oct. 1 - 12) direct giving-drive sponsored by Bain PTA. All monies raised will support students, staff and the Bain community at large. Our goal this year is $50,000. If we meet this goal, this campaign will serve as Bain’s primary direct fundraiser for the 2018-2019 school year. Why should I give?
The Invest in Your Child campaign funds will be used to support our teachers and children by funding items such as class supplies for teachers, classroom books, cultural arts programs, student scholarships, etc. 100% of the donations will go directly to meeting the needs of Bain. Your donation is also 100% Tax Deductible so please check with your employer for Donation Matching programs! All donations are targeted to be spent for the current school year. |
How do I participate?
In order to meet the fundraising goal of $50,000, we are asking that each family donate $50 per child. This is equal to 28¢/day for 180 school days. We do understand that all family and financial circumstances are different; therefore any donation that you choose to give will make a significant impact. The class per grade with the most donations gets a pizza party. The class per grade with the second most donations gets a popsicle party. The class per grade with the third most donations gets an extra recess time. |
